LA Community Impact Hub

GLAEF is a Founding Partner of the LA Community Impact Hub, a unique network of creative spaces for teens to explore technology, build skills, and gain exposure to the regional employers in tech and entertainment. In addition to partners such as Best Buy Foundation™, the Annenberg Foundation, and Los Angeles County, we connect local youth with the careers of tomorrow - starting with the robust creative economy in Los Angeles County.

Young Innovator Accelerator

In collaboration with Annenberg Tech, Annenberg Learner, and Best Buy Foundation, GLAEF sponsors the Young Innovators Accelerator (YIA), an intensive entrepreneurship course for Los Angeles County students to build and pitch their own business ideas. Students learn about the different facets of starting and running a business while being mentored and guided by experts. At the end of the program, students pitch their ideas to a panel of guest judges at the Final Pitch Competition at the Spotify Headquarters in DTLA.

AI & EdTech

GLAEF is thrilled to partner with LACOE to support the safe, equitable and intentional adoption of educational technology in Los Angeles County, especially with tools leveraging generative artificial intelligence. Anchored in the needs and priorities of educators, LACOE and GLAEF are providing guidance, technical assistance, and new programs to ensure that all students have access to tools that harness the transformational potential of educational technology.
