Los Angeles County Education Wildfire Recovery Fund @GLAEF
The Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation (GLAEF) and the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) have established a dedicated fund to direct vital resources to students, families, and educators that have been most affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles County.

The Los Angeles County Education Wildfire Recovery Fund @GLAEF supports critical recovery and rebuilding efforts while complementing local strategies, leveraging aligned resources, and addressing the most urgent needs facing our communities.
Funds are used to support strategies including:
Basic Needs Relief
Cash assistance to address the urgent needs of students, families, and staff.
Mental Health Support
Expanded access to EASE mental health services, providing counseling and wellness support to school staff.
Support for Educators
Targeted grants for educators and school staff for innovative projects addressing recovery.
Enrichment and Out-of-School Time Activities
Support for out-of-school time and enrichment programming, ensuring students continue to have access to structured, engaging learning environments.
Technology Replacement
Replacement of technology lost in the fires for students and educators.
Community Rebuilding
Support for community-building efforts to strengthen school culture and acknowledge the resilience of school teams.
Looking ahead, GLAEF remains committed to supporting school communities through long-term recovery planning across the region. The fund will remain a critical bridge to recovery, ensuring educational equity and community resilience in the face of crisis.
